Teenagers Arrested for Vandalism at Antelope Crossing Middle School

Antelope, CA (October 3, 2024) – Ten teenagers have been arrested for a series of vandalism and burglary incidents that plagued Antelope Crossing Middle School between April and July of this year. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reports that the property damage inflicted by the suspects is estimated to be nearly $100,000.

The investigation began after six separate crime reports were filed between the aforementioned dates. The Sheriff’s Property Crimes Bureau launched a comprehensive probe, reviewing surveillance footage, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing all available evidence. This meticulous investigation led to the identification of 12 juvenile suspects who now face a combined total of 106 felony charges.

Extensive Charges

The charges levied against the suspects include:

  • 56 counts of burglary (PC 459)
  • 35 counts of conspiracy (PC 182)
  • 11 counts of vandalism (PC 594)
  • 1 count of possession of a destructive device with intent to intimidate (PC 18740)
  • 1 count of reckless or malicious possession of a destructive device (PC 18715)

Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

Ten of the identified suspects were apprehended today without incident and transported to the Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility. Authorities are actively searching for the remaining two suspects. Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office anticipates further arrests and charges as the investigation continues.
