William “Bill” Carl Grossman
July 1931 – March 2022
Elverta, California
Our beloved father passed away peacefully on March 10 at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Betty Davis Grossman, sons Bill (Denette’), Steven (Tawny), and daughter Stacy Grossman.
He leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Upon graduating from Elk Grove High School he served in the National Guard and the US Navy.
He worked for the Rio Linda School District for 39 years, retiring in May 1992. During that time he also served as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff and a volunteer fireman for Rio Linda Fire Dept.
He took great pride in his family and loved all family gatherings. He especially enjoyed our family Disney trips where he would go on the rides with the kids and be a kid himself. Dad was an avid gardener, fisherman, hunter and loved the elusive good game of golf. We will miss his fun-loving spirit and easy laugh.
A celebration of life will be held April 24, 11-2 pm @ Dark Heart Brewing 4339 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, kids welcome.
