MCCLELLAN, Calif. – The Grant Union High School community is invited to celebrate the incredible achievements of the CIF Division 2-AA State Champion Pacers football team.
Join us for a special community rally on Saturday, January 11th, from noon to 2:00 PM at Grant High School Stadium (1400 Grand Ave., Sacramento).
This celebratory event will honor the Pacers’ remarkable journey through the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs, the Northern California Regionals, and their thrilling victory in the CIF State Championship game.
The rally will feature a presentation of the ceremonial game ball, a championship ring reveal, and inspiring speeches from student-athletes and coaches.
Come out and show your support for these outstanding young men and their dedicated coaching staff. Let’s celebrate this historic achievement together!
The Pacers Headed to the State Capitol
Grant Union High School’s state championship football team (Division 2-AA) has been invited to visit the State Capitol on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. Each player will receive a certificate and spend approximately 20-30 minutes in the Assembly Chamber.
