Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) has posted the list of Ballot DropBox and Vote Center locations for June 7, 2022, Statewide Direct Primary Election on their website.
Vote by Mail ballots will be mailed to voters beginning Monday, May 9, 2022. Ballot Drop Boxes will begin opening Monday, May 9, 2022, and Vote Centers will begin opening Saturday, May 28, 2022. On Tuesday, May 9th, ballots will begin to be mailed to California voters. Voting can begin immediately by returning ballots to any of the Ballot Drop Boxes located throughout Sacramento County.
In Rio Linda and Elverta, a dropbox will be located at the Rio Linda Library, Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The library will also be open on Election Day from 7 am to 8 pm.
Beginning Saturday, June 4th, The Depot Building will be open from 8 am to 4 pm until Election Day on June 7th, when they will be open extended hours, from 7 am to 8 pm.
Voter registration forms must be postmarked by May 23rd or delivered to the VRE Office at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento 95823 by 5:00 p.m. Online voter registration must be completed before midnight on this date at www.registertovote.ca.gov.
