Kaiser Permanente has Purchased 37 Acres in North Natomas

According to the Sacramento Business Journal, today Kaiser Permanente closed escrow on 37 acres in North Natomas area east of I-5 and north of I-80.

Plans for the property are assumed to be a replacement facility for the aging Morse Avenue medical center, but plans haven’t been yet disclosed by Kaiser.

Many healthcare-related projects are taking place in Natomas recently; Centene Corp has developed property east of I-5 near Arena Drive, The Arco Arena property will be developed into a hospital by California Northstate University, and Kaiser owns another 14 or so acres near the Promenade in Natomas.

There has not been any immediate comment by Kaiser Permanente.
